The Eagle is new to our freeride range: A classic shape with a long and narrow outline for early passive planing and thin rails for easy gybing, which will be delivering full freeride performance in any conditions.
The slightly longer and narrower outline compared to the Gecko range allows easy, passive planing and makes it the ideal choice for intermediates who are on their way to the next level. The Eagle is also the perfect partner for the more experienced riders who do not need the extra width that a Gecko offers, however looking for a smooth ride with planing and gybing as their main focus.
The real beauty of the board can be found in its gybing characteristics: Thanks to the thin rails, the Eagle is extremely easy to gybe and turns very well. It has a good turn of speed but is more compact, maneuverable, and controllable than flighty.
Multiple footstrap inserts, all positioned slightly further inboard, allow you to adjust the board according to your demands and skills, whether for freeride cruising, manoeuvres or blasting – this board is extremely versatile.
The Eagle comes in two constructions: The duarable and budget friendly High Resistance Skin (HRS) and the Premium LTD version and is available in two sizes of 130 and 150l. Both sizes are approved for foil use.

High Resistance composite technology is a durable construction for everyday use. A thick, durable outer skin gives the hull maximum strength, as well as making it ding and impact resistant. Strategic use of fibre reinforcements ensure adequate stiffness. In combination with the user-friendly EVA deck, HRS can be seen on the standard Gecko, as well as the Viper / Ripper ranges.

Choose Eagle over Gecko:
The Eagle is designed to plane earlier and in a more passive manner (without too much pumping) vs the Gecko. So it is perfect for intermediates to learn the basics of footstrap use and planing/gybes.. It reacts earlier and planes longer than the Gecko and after it is less technical to sail. It also planes easier through wind holes. The Eagle is the easiest Freeride board within the Fanatic range – simply perfect to practice carve jibes and tacks and planing.
Choose Eagle over Viper
The Eagle offers more responsive planing performance than the Viper and helps to progress sailing in the footstraps. It´s lighter and smaller than the Viper – the perfect choice for intermediate students who learned on the Viper and are looking for the next steps like jibes, tacks and waterstarting.
